I haven't been here (or Topeka) in almost two decades, but back in the day I spent a TON of money here on used roleplaying games and sci-fi/fantasy novels. It was excellent then and had some rare books at reasonable prices. I'm glad to see that it's still in business.

My favorite place in all of Topeka. Great selection of books and always affordable. The deals I've gotten for classic and modern books are just beyond amazing. If you are coming to Topeka for any reason you must stop by Dean's.

A quality used bookstore of both hardback and paperback. Paperbacks tend to be of more recent printing dates. Stock is extensive.

Great collection of a wide range of books both fiction and nonfiction. I was looking for out of print Westerns and fantasy novels, and I found both. The owner couldn’t have been nicer! I will definitely be back!

I have been going here for years. It is fun to look for books, like treasure hunting. I trade books. I have found dvds of older movies, before 1950.

Excellent selection of used books, magazines, periodicals, CDs, heck even license plates and an adult section. I'm a huge Stephen King fan and have found a lot of my collection at Dean's. Highly recommend and I always love supporting small and local businesses.

Absolute hidde gem!!!! Lots of books, especially stuff pre-2000s. A must see if you're a book collector or avid reader!
